THOMASVILLE: Karl Grant Schultz, 50, passed peacefully on June 28, 2021 at Hospice of Davidson County in Lexington, NC. He was born on September 26, 1970 in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Karl Francis Schultz and Barbara Jean Schultz-Powell. Karl graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. In his spare time, he loved his dog Frisco, enjoyed spending time with his family, watching sports (passionate San Francisco 49ers fan). He is survived by his mother Barbara Latham Schultz Powell (Gary) of Thomasville, North Carolina, brother Jason Schultz (Kristy) nieces Janelle and Julia of Trinity, North Carolina. Sister Melinda (Justin)Killifer, nieces Braya and Reigna of Lewiston, New York, and close cousin Richard Baker of Ransomville, New York. He will be missed and is loved by many dear friends and family. A special thanks to Hospice of Davidson County who provided excellent care. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
